At the halfway point of the schedule, the frontrunners find themselves 12 points out of the two teams tied at first and more teams are making a run towards the top. The unnamed Team 13 continue their surge upward and find themselves in fourth place and face a crucial test against bowl4money.com.

The top match features Bistro Bread taking on the unnamed Team 14.

The eighth week of competition saw two honor scores and a Big Four Split conversion but was yet another tough night to endure. The heat and humidity, which had no affect on the league that bowled 25 hours beforehand, caused numerous problems with, and complaints about, the heat and approaches to where three bowlers were forced to withdraw in the middle of their respective matches.

If that's not the highest number to withdraw during a match in years past (when the center was full), it certainly has to be the highest percentage (over five) in the history of the league.

In preparation for the upcoming summer schedule, those teams wishing to participate need to secure their spot with a $60 entry fee which will be deposited directly into the prize fund, as voted on by the members present at the meeting. These monies will be applied to the team's balance. Refer to the contact information below for submitting your entry fee ... only those teams who have secured their entry fee will have confirmed spots.

The league will bowl at Bowl America Chantilly on Tuesday evenings at 19:30 (7:30pm). Teams or individuals interested in joining the league should contact the league president, the league secretary or call Bowl America Chantilly at 703-830-2695.
